This monthly subscription makes you a member of Gudmar Petursson’s Online Educational Community on Patreon.
He will regularly share an educational video on a specific topic that you, as a member, can vote for in a poll. If you don’t have any burning questions or feel like voting — no problem! You’re more than welcome to simply enjoy the educational content. Given that video topics are based on member questions and the live sessions are recorded, you can watch them and study whenever it’s convenient for you.
The idea is to create a supportive and educational atmosphere in which Gudmar creates content that helps you learn and develop as a rider. It will also allow for discussion amongst members.
The content will be authentic and real, and you’ll see the issues he’s dealing with and how he’s dealing with them. He may include other riders and students if he feels that’s the best way to get the message across.
The instructional videos will live on Patreon and develop into a collection that members will be able to browse through at any time. We foresee this as a fun, interactive, educational project involving a community of people who are passionate about horsemanship.

Horse Lover
Do you want to improve your horsemanship? Whether you ride regularly or are thinking about getting your first horse and getting into riding, this tier is for you.
Members of this tier receive:
Access to a growing video library that currently contains over 80 instructional videos. The material covers everything that beginning and intermediate riders need to know, from understanding your tack options to the basic principles and techniques of good horsemanship. The content is wide-ranging and determined by students like you.
The ability to influence the library’s content by occasionally voting in Patreon-exclusive polls to help determine future video topics.
Access to additional Patreon-exclusive content, including bonus videos, downloads, printables, and more.
Access to the Facebook group “GP Community – Horse Lover.” This is a great place to get to know and get in touch with like-minded equestrians.

Dedicated Rider
Ready to dig a little bit deeper? Whether you're looking to build the best relationship possible with your horse or ready to ride competitively, this tier is for you.
Members of this tier receive:
Access to the entire, growing video library (over 130 instructional videos and their corresponding Q&A sessions), plus all perks from the Equine Enthusiast tier.
One new teaching (instructional) video per month.
Access to each monthly video’s live Q&A, where you’ll be able to learn directly from me. Select Q&As will be recorded and posted for those who can’t attend live Q&As.
The ability to lead the community by voting in a monthly poll to help determine the next video topic.
Access to the Facebook group “GP Community – Dedicated Rider.”
Access to Dedicated-Rider-exclusive content, including live demonstrations at Hestaland or behind-the-scenes looks at my training sessions.

how it works
You choose one of the topics that has been covered on Patreon. Send us a short video (10–15 minutes) working on that topic, along with a short summary of the challenge you’re facing. Gudmar will watch the video and provide personal feedback via a one-on-one video chat (30 minutes). This option is ideal if you could benefit from more explanation or need a way to help apply that topic to yourself and/or your horse.
