Veigar is a six year old stallion. His father Kormákur fra Flugumýri is a famous first prize stallion. His mother Von fra Stekkjarholti has thrown great offspring including Kalman frá Laekjarmoti, a very good first prize stallion owned by Steve and Andrea Barber NY. and Mon frá Lækjarmóti a four gaited mare with 9 for tolt, trot, form under rider and 9.5 for spirit.
Veigar is exceptionally beautiful horse with an elegant appearance. He has a lot of mane and tail and great temperament. Veigar is very cooperative and cheerful (happy horse). It is a lot of fun to work with him because he always listens and is positive about anything. Veigar has beautiful high movements and four clear good gaits.
Veigar was re-evaluated at the Kentucky spring evaluations 2009 and improved his scores a lot, you can see his scores here below.
Veigar has now competed few time is four gait and done well. He has few times scored around 7 and his highest score is 7.5 He has won every four gait competition he has taken part in except for one.
