  • Born in 2001
  • Gender: Mare
  • Color: Chestnut
  • 5 gaited

Festi is a 10 year old Chestnut mare with a star. And a “star” she is! Festi is the ultimate riding horse.  She is light, smooth, fast, spirited and very brave. She has had extensive training and has been shown successfully both competitively and in exhibitions including The Equine Affaire. Festi can be shown in four gaited, possibly five gaited classes. She scored well at this year’s evaluations. Her scores can be seen here below. Festi would make a wonderful broodmare.  Her sire was highly evaluated and her dam is a 2nd prized mare. While she has her own mind, Festi is incredibly fun to ride and would be great on trail for the experienced rider.  This horse can go all day long!  Festi would do best with an intermediate to advanced rider.

Pala

  • lS2000257363
  • Born in Iceland 2002
  • Gender: Mare
  • Color: Chestnut
  • 5 gaited

Pala is a 9 year old Chestnut mare.  She came to us from Iceland last year carrying a little surprise to all…a beautiful pinto colt! Pala has a smooth, clean, easy tolt along with a good trot and canter. Pala is possibly five gaited.  If you are looking for a tolting machine that is very light on the reins, come and give Pala a try! Pala’s training was started again this spring after the birth of her foal last year.  She is a great show prospect and is being trained for evaluations. While Pala can be a bit shy at first, she has a great personality and can be very trusting once she gets to know you.  This well bred mare would be a great match for an intermediate rider.

  • Age: 03/06/11
  • Gender: Mare
  • Color: Buckskin Dun

Molda is a 14-year-old four-gaited mare with a charming personality. She was evaluated in Iceland and received second prize with 8.0 for both her tölt and trot. Molda would be an ideal horse for someone looking for a horse that is experienced on the trails and beautiful in the show ring. Her gaits are clean and of good quality which means that she takes long strides and has flashy movements. Molda is very calm and friendly. She has extensive experience as a trail horse; she is confident in a variety of situations (for example crossing water, etc.).  A confident beginner or even an advanced rider could appreciate Molda’s many assets.

Elding from Hanging Valley

  • US2009204318
  • Born in 2009
  • Gender: Mare
  • Color: Chestnut
  • 4 Gaited

Elding is under the beautiful first prize mare Spurning frá Arnarhóli and a first prize stallion Týr frá Árbakka that you may remember from his incredible five gait and loose rein tölt performances in the show ring. Elding is sensitive but relaxed and cooperative both on the trails and in the arena. All four basic gaits are trained and she keeps a clean beat and is well balanced for a young horse. With her great bloodlines she has potential for being a competition/breeding mare or a quality horse to hit the trails with and have some fun.  Elding would be suitable for an intermediate to advanced rider.

Elding was evaluated as a young horse by Barbara Frische and received the following scores:
Character: 7.9, Gaits: 7.8, Total: 7.82
Comment: compact, very forward thinking 5 gaited mare with fast reactions, movements and strong pushing power.
